How it works: Step 1: Order a cell phone package online. Click here Step 2: Your cell phone will be delivered to your hotel on the date that you select in the form. You only have to pay for the delivery fee and for the total minutes you use. There is no rental fee for the cell phone itself. Step 3: To make it easy for you, after you are finished with the cell phone you may return it to any of the hotel's concierge in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou and we will pick it up from there. (Note: If you accidentally forget to return the cell phone in China and get back to the United States. You must mail the cell phone to our office in the China. See detail address.) There is no time limit on how long you can have the cell phone in your possession during your stay in China. You will be billed after you return the cell phone or if you intend to keep it longer than a month we will bill you on monthly bases. |
What are the cellular minute rates?
Airtime is $0.25 per minute for all domestic incoming and outgoing calls. International outgoing calls to the U.S. or Canada is $0.55 per minute. International calls to other countries $0.82 per minute.

No, there is no deposit fee.

What kind of phone will I get?
We provide cell phones from Nokia.
How will I get my cell phone number?
After you have place an order you will receive your cell phone number within 12 hours via Email.
What should I do if I forget the cell phone number?
If you have deleted the Email we sent you with your phone number. You can just contact us by Email and we will return your request as soon as possible. Our contact details can be easily found on our website. Just go to Customer Center for more information.
When will I get the phone?
You will receive your cell-phone upon your arrival at the hotel you booked. We will put the cell-phone you have ordered to the counter of the hotel you will lodge in.
When do I order?
You can order as far in advance as you like, even months prior to your arrival in China. We will not deliver your rental unit until the appropriate date in order for you to receive it in time for your travels in China.
What is the latest I can order a rental phone?
Actually, you can order whenever you want. But if you want to use the cell-phone as soon as your arrival in Beijing, you'd better order before your arrival to ensure that we can get you your cell-phone rental in time.

How do I calculate my rental period?
It is important to remember that your phone rental is measured from the date of your stated arrival in the Beijing until the date it is sent back (not when it arrives) or returned in person.

When do I get charged for my cell phone rental?
After you have placed your order, you will only be charged a delivery fee. There is no rental fee for the cell phone itself. When you return the cell phone, then you will be billed for the minutes you have used.
What happens if I cancel?
As long as your cell phone rental has not been shipped, you will not incur any charges. If your rental cell phone has been sent out, you are only responsible for the shipping fee.
Do you offer insurance against loss or damage?
No, we do not offer any insurance for cell phones. If you lose a cell phone you will be fined $70.00 and damaged cell phones' fine will be determined after assessment.

How do my friends call my China cell phone from USA ?
In order to call to your China cell phone number from the USA, the correct sequence is 011-86, then the China cell phone number including the area code (ex. 011-86-13581113333). Please be sure to inform anyone who has your China cell phone number as to the proper dialing sequence in order to insure you receive your calls. To call numbers within China, make sure that you call the proper city code.
How to call back to USA with my China cell phone?
To call the United States from your cell phone while in China, you must first dial 001 and then city/area code and phone number (ex.001-212-555-1212). See dialing detail.
How can I return the cell phone to you?
Take it into consideration that most tourists will fly back to their country from the city they end their trip in, rather than Beijing we will send our staff to your last hotel indicated in the order form for pickup. You will be able to just leave your cell phone at the front desk, therefore, please inform us of your timely departure with the name of your last hotel. Will my phone come with a charger?
Yes. All of our cell phones come with a variable-voltage travel charger. Our rental phones are shipped fully charged. What if my cell phone or SIM card doesn't work?
It is rare that one of our cell phones wouldn't work and extremely rare for a SIM card not to work. We personally test all of our phones prior to sending them out to ensure quality service and no defects. You can double-check this after you have receive your cell phone and SIM card. Simply charge the phone and then see if it powers on. Less than 1% of all cell-cellular phones are defective and less than 1 in 10,000 SIM cards are defective. If for some reason a phone or SIM card purchased proves defective, it will be replaced ASAP. If you encounter problems while on the road, you will first want to determine if the problem is a network problem or if it is hardware-related. If you can use someone else's cell phone and reproduce the problem, then you should contact the local carrier to see if there is a problem with the network. If the problem seems to be with the handset, please contact us by email us at service@tigerphone.net and for emergencies call 86-152-0145-2861. Our office hours are 9AM to 6 PM from Monday to Friday. We will be glad to return the call to save you money while troubleshooting your issue.
Will my country-specific SIM card work outside the country of origin?
When you use a country-specific SIM card outside of its home country, this is known as "roaming". While this is often possible to do, there are some problems that make this undesirable for longer side-trips. First of all, the rates are much more expensive for making local and international calls and you don't get free incoming calls. What are the emergency numbers in China?
